The music ministry proclaims Christ through sacred song, enriching the Divine Service with reverent, theologically rich music rooted in Scripture and the Lutheran Confessions. Drawing from the Lutheran Service Book, this ministry includes organ-led congregational singing, choir anthems, instrumental offerings, and occasional contributions from the bell choir. Whether through hymnody or choral pieces, every note is offered to glorify God and support the proclamation of His Word
Deborah DeGrado
Director of Music Ministry
Deborah DeGrado holds a Bachelor of Music Degree with Honors from Biola University in La Mirada CA. She currently serves as Director of Music Ministry after using her God-given gifts for 34 years at Purpose Church in Pomona, California as Pianist, Organist, Percussionist and Soloist. She is an accomplished professional musician who worked extensively as an Accompanist throughout Southern California. Deborah moved to Florida in 2022 to be closer to family, came to Celebration Lutheran Church in October 2022 and started the Celebration choir eight months later. Deborah has a heart for training vocal and instrumental musicians to grow in ability to serve the church in bringing glory to God. “Soli Deo Gloria.”
