Confirmation Classes
Ground your child in Christ—Confirmation classes shape faith for life.
In the LCMS Lutheran faith, Confirmation classes are a vital time of catechesis where baptized youth (typically in middle school) are instructed in the core teachings of the Christian faith as confessed in Luther’s Small Catechism. These classes prepare students to publicly affirm their baptismal faith, deepening their understanding of Scripture, the Ten Commandments, the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, Baptism, Confession, and the Lord’s Supper. It’s a season of spiritual growth, guided by faithful teaching, prayer, and community support, culminating in the Rite of Confirmation—a joyful confession of faith and commitment to lifelong discipleship in Christ.
